How we review products.
We do not accept paid placements, sponsored rankings, or pay-to-play reviews. Our recommendations are entirely editorially independent. We make money through affiliate links, but our product selections are made before we even look at affiliate availability.
Our Evaluation Criteria
Every product category has a custom scoring rubric. We assign weighted values to specific features and test them rigorously.

Conflict of Interest Policy
Our reviewers and authors are strictly forbidden from evaluating products from companies they have consulted for, invested in, or accepted gifts from. We buy our own products for testing whenever possible. When a manufacturer provides a review unit (common in fitness equipment), we disclose it and do not guarantee a positive review. If a product fails our tests, we say so.

This is how we fund our editorial operations, maintain our servers, and pay our expert reviewers.
